"Unfortunately our flight had to turn back to Faro airport only 20 minutes into our journey because of a passenger was in need of Medical treatment. This meant our flight was about one and a half hours late arriving in Bristol. I was able to text the driver when the aircraft landed back at Faro airport and I had an immediate and very favourable response from him.
Just 2 points I wanted to make. The flight details didn't seem to be passed on to the driver and there was confusion as to where we were going to meet up with the Driver. However this was clarified by a phone call from the Driver.
We were very grateful to the Driver waiting for the arrival of our delayed flight. I am not sure what your procedure is under these circumstances.
